Breaking: Birmingham City confirm permanent Rangers transfer

Birmingham City have secured the signing of Juninho Bacuna from Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers.

The 24-year-old joins for an undisclosed fee, although BirminghamLive has been told the deal could be worth up to seven figures including add-ons.

The central midfielder has signed a three-and-a-half year contract and becomes Blues first permanent signing of the window.

They have also brought in Teden Mengi, Taylor Richards and Onel Hernandez on loan.

“It is nice to be here, [I am] excited to get going,” he told Blues TV.

“I have got the opportunity to play games and show my abilities - Birmingham is a nice city. It is a big club and I am really excited to be here.

“The most important thing is to build something with the team and the Club. I have got three-and-a-half years to do it, I am going to do everything to make it an incredible time.”

Bacuna will wear the number 21 shirt for Blues.
