Brandon Williams' Manchester United plans confirmed after Norwich City loan

Norwich boss Dean Smith has spoken out on the incident that led to Brandon Williams removing a social media post, criticising fans that followed him after the Canaries 4-0 defeat to West Ham.

Williams, who is on a season’s loan from Manchester United , hit out via his Instagram account on Sunday evening. The 21-year-old said he was abused by a section fans after leaving Carrow Road, and that some supporters had followed him from the stadium.

Smith confirmed that Williams will stay with the club until the end of the campaign and that he will be in contention to start Wednesday’s trip to Leicester. The Canaries boss hasn’t discussed the incident with the talented left-back but is adamant that the situation is now closed.
