Boy rushed to hospital after crash outside school

A child has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Oldham this afternoon.

Emergency services raced to Chadderton Hall Road in Chadderton at around 4:10pm on Tuesday (March 26) following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and vehicle.

Greater Manchester Police said the pedestrian, who is a boy, was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Officers taped off the road outside North Chadderton School while emergency services worked on the scene. It is unclear whether the child had any relation to the school.
