Major Manchester city centre junction closed after crash
A major Manchester city centre crossroads is cordoned off this morning following a car crash.
Drivers and bus passengers are being warned of disruption following the smash at the junction of Swan Street, Shudehill and Rochdale Road at the edge of the Northern Quarter.
Pictures from the scene show two badly damaged cars which appear to have crashed close to the Pot Kettle Black cafe. Emergency services remain at the scene.

Several bus services have been diverted as the cordon drivers are unable to get to Shudehill bus station.
An earlier crash at the junction of Oldham Street, Church Street and Dale Street was also causing disruption, but that has now cleared.
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for a comment.
