Bournemouth to be without eight senior players for trip to Manchester United

Bournemouth are set to be without a flurry of first-team players when they visit Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

The Cherries, who lost 3-0 on their last visit to M16, will be targeting a second successive win after Wednesday night's 2-0 triumph over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. They scooped all three points thanks to goals either side of half-time from Marcos Senesi and Kieffer Moore.

Victory over Palace extended their unbeaten run to four matches, three of which they have won, meaning they will travel to M16 with a spring in their step. They have also won each of their last two away games, scoring five goals in the process, conceding just once.

The Cherries' recent upturn in form is all the more impressive when you take into account their injury troubles, which are not expected to ease ahead of the trip to Old Trafford. Head coach Andoni Iraola, is poised to pick his matchday squad from the same pool of players that saw off Palace.

"I think we have the same players in the squad," said Iraola, as quoted by the Bournemouth Echo. "Junior (Traore) continues [to be] ill. "He has a temperature, and will not be able to be a part of the squad. Lloyd (Kelly) is still not close. I think the next one we should recover is Max (Aarons).

"Max is training on his own but is already outside, and I think he is the next one that we will recover. Tomorrow, no chance. He hasn't trained with the team. It is also going to be very difficult next weekend, but he is next in line to recover."

In total, eight players are expected
