Borussia Dortmund to 'offer Jadon Sancho escape route' from Manchester United and more transfer rumours

Borussia Dortmund are set to offer Jadon Sancho an 'escape route' in January, according to reports.

Sancho looks set to leave Manchester United after refusing to apologise to Erik ten Hag, following their public fallout over the last international break. The 23-year-old accused his manager of lying about poor performances in training after the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal.

Ten Hag banned Sancho from the first-team facilities at Carrington and a January transfer looks the most likely option. And according to ESPN, Dortmund will offer to take him back.

The Bundesliga side have publicly denied interest in the winger but the report suggests they would be open to a move, should their finances allow it. Any deal will most likely be a half-season loan in which United would need to pay a portion of Sancho's £300,000-per-week wages.

Elsewhere, Football Insider reports that Crystal Palace are set to approach Marc Guehi over a new contract amid interest from United.

Ten Hag's side are one of several in the Premier League who are eyeing the centre-back, who has been excellent in two seasons at Selhurst Park since joining from Chelsea. Such form earned Guehi a call-up to the England squad, where he has won seven caps since is debut in March of last year.

The 23-year-old still has almost three years left on his current deal and there is said to be no rush in penning new terms, but Roy Hodgson's side are conscious of interest.
