Bobby Madden earns Celtic fan fury as referee grabs the spotlight in Rangers defeat post mortem - Hotline

Celtic fans had referee Bobby Madden in their sights as Rangers edged the Hoops in a titanic Scottish Cup semi-final.

But the jubilant Light Blue Hotline callers also believe their win could also prove to be a turning point in the title race.

Denis Bruce, Bishopbriggs, said: "The semi-final could turn out to be the pivotal game of the season for both Celtic and Rangers.

"If Celtic do not win against Ross County, the alarm bells will be ringing when they face Rangers at Parkhead.

"That will make the game against Rangers the following week a must not lose game.

"The complexion of the league has now taken a change which challenges Celtic 's nerves."

William Hutchison, Aberdeen, said: "We lost the semi-final and chance of a treble and there's not much we can do about that now.

"Let's put the league to bed and do the double and so much for Rangers going to be tired after the game against Braga last Thursday night."
