Gillingham claimed four points over Easter with a draw at Walsall and win against Accrington Stanley and head to Salford City this Saturday

Manager Gareth Ainsworth is confident of a strong finish this season after an Easter weekend that finally lifted spirits.

The Gills had lost five games in a row before last Friday’s trip to promotion-chasing Walsall, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Ainsworth’s men backed it up with a comfortable 2-0 home win over Accrington Stanley on Monday. They visit Salford on Saturday.

Gillingham’s owners have said sorry for the club’s on-field failings this season as they look to encourage fans to secure their seats for the 2026/27 campaign#gills #gfc
