Celtic ready to unleash Kyogo and Giakoumakis partnership as Postecoglou drops hint for Rangers showdown

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says his team will "need" Kyogo if they are to emerge victorious from Sunday's clash with Rangers.

But he insists that doesn't necessarily mean Giorgos Giakoumakis will be consigned to a spot on the bench.

The Hoops face Gers in the final derby of the season and could effectively win the Premiership with three points.

A win would put Celtic nine points clear with three to play but their far superior goal difference would leave Gio van Bronckhorst 's team needing a near-impossible swing.

Much has been made about who will start up front for the league leaders who finally have the luxury of both Kyogo and Giorgos Giakoumakis available.

Kyogo was the main man in the first half of the season and he was back among the goals against Ross County after a long injury layoff.

But Giakoumakis has been firing too and fans are buzzing about the prospect of the 30-goal duo linking up on the pitch.

Postecoglou says they will need Kyogo come Sunday - hinting he will be in the starting lineup for the third straight game.

But he's refused to rule out starting his two marksmen together as they look to get the league title over the line.

He told Sky Sports: "Kyogo is a special player.
