Blossoms announce UK 2024 tour ahead of huge Wythenshawe Park gig

Blossoms have announced details of their upcoming UK tour taking place this autumn. Their headline tour will take place in October and November and will stop off in cities including London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Glasgow.

At present, no Manchester date has been announced as part of the tour but the band will be playing their biggest headline gig at Wythenshawe Park on Sunday (25 August). In June, Blossoms also confirmed their fifth album, 'Gary', would be released in September.

For pre-sale access, fans have been invited to pre-order the new album from the Blossoms website here. The pre-sale will take place at 9.30am on Wednesday, 21 August, while general sale will take place at 9.30am on Friday, 23 August with tickets available for purchase via Ticketmaster here.

Since forming in 2013, Blossoms have enjoyed widespread success beginning with their 2016 debut 'Blossoms', which topped the album charts for two consecutive weeks and went on to earn the band BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations.

Their album 'Cool Like You' charted at Number 4 in the UK album chart, spawning the anthemic singles 'I Can’t Stand It' and 'There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls)'. 2020’s Foolish Loving Spaces was the band’s second UK Number 1 album, while their fourth studio LP Ribbon Around The Bomb gave the band their third UK Number 1 album.

Blossoms’ new album 'Gary' is produced by the band’s regular collaborator James Skelly of The Coral, alongside Jungle’s Josh-Lloyd Watson. Meanwhile, CMAT has also co-written two tracks on the album.
