Drew Uyi to speak at UK-Kenya Trade Mission 2024, announces talent scouting partnership

FIFA-licensed football agent, Drew Uyi, continues to make waves internationally, having been invited as a guest speaker at the prestigious UK-Kenya Trade Mission 2024. The event, scheduled to take place from 1st to 3rd October in Nairobi, Kenya, will be held under the theme, “The New Gateway to Africa Investment.” According to organisers, the mission aims to foster new business partnerships, create matchmaking opportunities, and enhance direct diaspora investment.

The highly anticipated event will be hosted at Weston Hotel, Nairobi.

Reacting to his invitation, Uyi expressed his excitement on Instagram, stating: “I am thrilled to announce that I will be in Nairobi, Kenya, from October 1st to 3rd as a guest speaker at the UK-Kenya Trade Mission 2024.”

He further explained that the conference will connect international investors with investment opportunities across key sectors in Kenya.

enyan Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Joseph Warui, confirmed that the Kenyan government plans to partner with Uyi in scouting young football talents. Warui also revealed that Kenya seeks collaboration with a Premier League club to help promote Kenyan football, and that Uyi has committed to supporting the organisers of a planned African Comedy Night at the O2 Dome in London.

“I had a fruitful discussion with Drew Uyi, a British football agent, brand strategist, and entrepreneur, also known as Dr Drew Uyi. He is a registered intermediary with the Football Association in the UK and an accredited FIFA players agent,” Warui said.
