Blackpool Airshow 2024: Where to buy tickets and how much they cost

Thousands of aviation enthusiasts are will descend into Blackpool to watch this year's dazzling airshow. Taking place from August 10th to August 11th, fans will gather along the seafront to watch a diverse range of aircraft take to the skies.

The huge family friendly event is completely free and attendees have been advised to arrive as early as possible to make time for parking and the trip to the promenade where the show will take place. The beach will be taking in walk-ins, however, for those who need to call and plan ahead can ring the number 01253 478222.

This year's lineup includes the famous Red Arrows, a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and breath-taking stunts from the wingwalkers.

As well as the performances in the skies, visitors can explore the Air Show Village, which will feature a range of stalls, attractions and food concessions. The promenade will be open both days from 10am to 5pm.

The Airshow Village will be open from 10am to 6pm on both days. The event is completely free and the action will take place between the North Pier and Central Pier.

One of the longest running airshows in the world, the Blackpool Airshow dates back to 1909, when it was first held at Blackpool Airport showcasing some of the first planes ever built.

Travelling to the airshow by train is the most convenient and eco-friendly way to get to Blackpool. The nearest station to the event is the Blackpool North and it is just a ten minute walk from the seafront, the North Pier and the Pleasure Beach.
