Bitter Rangers crybabies know Rodgers could be anywhere and Celtic will still triumph at their second home – Hotline

The international break is almost at an end - and after Brendan Rodgers was issued a ban by the SFA there is only one topic dominating the phone lines.

The Celtic boss was handed a one-match ban with one suspended - meaning he will miss the clash with Livingston as the Scottish Premiership gets back underway. But with the boss now free to take step into the dugout at Ibrox for the crucial top of the table clash with Rangers some punters have been less than pleased over the decision coming out of Hampden.

Scott Gowers, Edinburgh: "The SFA's cop out regarding Brendan Rodgers suggests that there are major isms within Scottish football. No other governing body in world sport would have backed down to anyone blatantly breaking the rules such as this. I think that others should be allowed to appeal this injustice, the decision doesn't only make the SFA look soft it also points to the fact they don't care about their laws when it comes to Celtic. Rodgers being able to motivate his players from the dugout will make things all the sweater for us Rangers fans as it takes away the excuse that we didn't have our manager. I honestly can' t believe how the SFA can have such a disregard for their own rules."
