Birmingham City fans outline transfer need despite late comeback

Birmingham City snatched a late point from an almost impossible position as Gary Gardner and Scott Hogan both scored in the final five minutes of their meeting with Peterborough United to salvage a point.

Jack Marriott and then a Jonson Clarke-Harris penalty put lowly Posh in full control, and not many at St Andrew’s could’ve argued that they weren’t deserving of their lead.

With the game nearing full time and Blues still trailing, Gardner’s volley got them back into it and then Hogan stooped low to nod in Jeremie Bela’s cross from the right with two minutes to spare.

They might even have won it if Lukas Jutkiewicz had connected properly with a Jordan Graham delivery, but the late goals and sharing of the spoils only masked the problems seen by many Bluenoses in attendance.

They shared their concerns post match.

Not sure how but we got something and to be fair could of won it at the end. Poor though for 80 mins. Ridiculous pen decision. Too many of this squad are not good enough. No depth to the squad. Blues are in desperate need of some reinforcements!! Act fast!!

One of the worst #bcfc performances I’ve ever seen. How we’ve been so bad for 85 minutes and had a sitter to win the match in the 90th is beyond me. Juke’s free header to win the match was that bad the ref thought it was a corner!

: What a strange game. Nice point but shame we only started playing in the 85th minute.

Blues were poor this evening, point better than nothing and weirdly I’m really looking forward to Derby away on Sunday!

: Played against 12 men all game and still came out with a point from 0-2 down so I’ll guess we take it. Another massive match next!

We have absolutely robbed Peterborough there, one of the worst performances I’ve seen
