Big Leeds transfer development emerges regarding 25 y/o who can do 'absolutely anything'

West Ham are reportedly keen on making a late move for Leeds United star Raphinha before the January transfer window closes.

The Whites may have had a season to forget overall but someone who has shone throughout the campaign is their brilliant Brazilian winger.

Raphinha has scored eight Premier League goals in 19 starts, comfortably leading the way for Leeds, as well as providing his usual skill, quality and unpredictability out wide.

It could be hard to keep hold of the 25-year-old beyond the summer but a fresh rumour claims a January exit could even be possible.

According to 90min, West Ham could make a bid for Raphinha before the January transfer window ends.

The promise of European football is seen as a way to trying to entice him to the club, with the Hammers currently in the Europa League knockout stages.

The outlet’s reporter, Toby Cudworth, also shared some information on Twitter: “Will take a substantial offer for LUFC to entertain any kind of deal but have learned that West Ham are interested & may test their resolve.”

While a summer exit is easy to envisage, sadly – he has been linked with a move away – the thought of losing Raphinha in January doesn’t bear thinking about and surely won’t happen.

With Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford out injured at times this season, including currently, the Brazil international is an even more important figure than ever, and to sell now with Phillips and Bamford sidelined would essentially leave Marcelo Bielsa without his three best players.
