'I don't understand it...' - Pundit left stunned by Bielsa as shock Leeds development emerges

Leeds United fell to yet another Premier League defeat in what is a pretty dismal season for the Whites, falling to Frank Lampard’s Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park.

Goals from Seamus Coleman and Michael Keane in the first half ensured Marcelo Bielsa’s side left Merseyside miserable, frantically looking over their shoulders. The suffering was compounded by Anthony Gordon late on who completed the scoring.

The result leaves Leeds just six points clear of the drop with Everton closing the gap to just one point behind, but the Toffees have a game in hand.

Marcelo Bielsa left pundits scratching their heads at the break, with Raphinha a casualty in a double switch before the second half kicked off. After an earlier injury, it meant he had no subs left for the entirety of the second period.

Clinton Morrison on Soccer Saturday said: “Unless Raphinha has an injury, l don’t understand it.”

Clearly it seems strange for Bielsa to take off his best attacking player when they’re 2-0 down, unless he is injured.

He has been on top form this season, scoring eight goals in all competitions, that sees him occupy top spot for the Whites in terms of goals scored so far this season. He also has two assists to his name with Patrick Bamford’s three the only player to top him.

It’s not just goals from the Brazilian. He has created 39 chances for his teammates this season, more than any other Leeds player.

In other news, Darragh Lenihan to LUFC?
