Ben Davies 'set for' Rangers start against Celtic as Philippe Clement dealt ANOTHER injury hammer blow

Rangers boss Philippe Clement will hand Ben Davies a start against Celtic amid mounting injury woes, according to a report.

The 28-year-old came off the bench to make his first appearance in five months and scored in the 4-1 Scottish Premiership win against Kilmarnock after an injury-plagued campaign - and looks set to be thrown in for the crucial visit to Celtic Park with major doubts over Leon Balogun's fitness. The Nigeria international limped off at Ibrox during the victory over Derek McInnes' side and will now miss derby day state The Sun.

Connor Goldson is already out of action until the end of the season, but Balogun will reportedly be back in time for the Scottish Cup final clash with Brendan Rodgers' men on May 25. However, there has been some good injury news for boss Clement with Ryan Jack making his return to action as he started for the B-team against Queen's Park in the Glasgow Cup.
