BBC The Traitors viewers name new 'icon' after Linda exit as contestant makes 'sudden' U-turn

The Traitors viewers say there is now a new 'icon' after Linda's exit from the BBC show as one contestant made a surprising U-turn. Fans were left gutted after traitor Linda was caught out at the round table during Wednesday's episode (January 15).

Viewers then tuned into Thursday's episode (January 16) which began with Charlotte finding out Minah was the last remaining traitor.

After being told to head to the fire pit, Minah revealed herself as a traitor and asked Charlotte to join her, but if she declined, she would be murdered. Charlotte chose to become a traitor and the pair then committed their first murder together, 'killing' Anna.

After completing a mission, the contestants then gathered for the next round table, where one contestant shocked viewers with their sudden revelation.

Despite claiming she was 'bad at the game' the previous night, Lisa, a priest from Cornwall, came out of the woodworks and said she thought Charlotte and Minah could be traitors.

But it was Alex who received the most votes tonight, meaning he became the latest player to be banished from the castle. Although her fellow faithfuls didn't listen to her, fans were impressed by Lisa's 'sudden' U-turn.
