Man United star Marcus Rashford fires new transfer message as exit route confirmed after deadline
Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford has sent a parting message to Tyrell Malacia after he completed his own loan move to PSV Eindhoven.
Malacia, 25, will spend the remainder of the campaign in the Eredivisie, three years after making the move from Feyenoord to join up with then-manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford. Malacia was confirmed as one of the final United departures during the winter transfer window after the Dutch club completed a swoop on Tuesday - with the deadline for clubs in Holland a day later than England.
Sources have revealed to The Manchester Evening News that PSV will cover all of Malacia's wages, and the option to make the deal permanent for €10million (£8.3m) at the end of the season has been included. Should the full-back make his switch permanent, United will make a small loss following his £12.9million arrival in 2022.
In a joint-post on social media with PSV and the Netherlands defender, his announcement was shared across the respective channels. Bruno Fernandes was one of the few current players to offer support following his departure as three further familiar faces sent their best wishes with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Anthony Elanga joining Rashford.
The 27-year-old, who also left the club on loan this month for Aston Villa, said: "Twinnyyyyy," with two love hearts.
