BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri declares 'we're back' as she admits what was 'calling'

Tasha Ghouri has declared 'we're back' as her Strictly Come Dancing journey is set to continue for a bit longer. The former Love Island star has been reunited with Aljaz Skorjanec weeks after they competed in the final of the hit dance show.

Tasha made it to the end of the 2024 run of the BBC One dance contest alongside her pro dance partner Aljaz at the end of last year.. The pair finished joint top of the leaderboard at the end of the grand final in mid-December alongside JB Gill and Lauren Oakley.

It came after the four finalists - including Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell and Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola - had to perform three dances each in a bid to impress viewers before the winners of the 2024 series were crowned.

And the decision was one made by the voting public and despite high scores for Tasha and JB on the night, it was comedian Chris and professional dancer Dianne who lifted the famous Glitterball trophy after 13 weeks of dancing officially came to an end for another year.

But for some of the class of Strictly 2024, their dancing journey is continuing in early 2025 as they have joined the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour, including Tasha and Aljaz.

Taking to Instagram, Tasha shared pictures and videos of her back in golden sparkles as she and Aljaz filmed content for the upcoming arena shows, with rehearsals starting this week before the stars hit the road later this month.

Alongside the post, Tasha wrote: "We’re back!!! Christmas break was well needed but the ballroom shoes are calling @strictlycomedancinglive." And her fans and followers were quick to respond.
