BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Sarah Hadland issues rare update ahead of final and 'could not be happier'

Sarah Hadland has issued a rare update on her Strictly Come Dancing journey and she has told fans she 'could not be happier'. The actress is currently preparing for the final of the hit dance show alongside dance partner Vito Coppola.

Miranda star Sarah and the professional dancer made it through to the last week of the BBC One dance contest as they put in a solid two performances during the show's semi-final last weekend.

During the penultimate week of Strictly's 2024 series, Sarah and Vito performed a tango to Big Love by Fleetwood Mac and a jive to I’m So Excited by The Pointer Sisters, both earning 36 points each from the judges.

Despite their routines getting a divided response from the judges, the couple were supported by the voting public and it was confirmed during the last results show of the series on Sunday night (December 8) that Sarah and Vito have made it through to the final, which takes place this Saturday night (December 14).

During the final, they'll perform three dances each. It has been confirmed that Sarah and Vito will perform their Show Dance to Cabaret by Metropole Orkest as well as their American Smooth to Proud by Heather Small and Cha Cha to Like A Prayer by Madonna.

Ahead of taking to the ballroom floor for the final time, Sarah has taken to Instagram with a beaming selfie of herself and all her fellow finalists, which is a rare move as she's not been a huge poster on social media throughout her time on the show.

Alongside the group selfie, she wrote: "I could not be happier - this group of people are the loveliest human beings ever. Happy finals week @tashaghouri @vitocoppola
