BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara says 'forever' as she's supported over loss after 'want' for her daughter

Janette Manrara has been flooded with messages of love and support as she remembered a famous friend following her tragic death. The Strictly Come Dancing star took to social media on Thursday (February 15) to remember the late Caroline Flack.

February 15th 2024 marks four years since the Love Island host took her own life at the age of 40 and she would have marked her 44th birthday back in November. Following her death in February 2020, a coroner ruled she took her own life after learning prosecutors were going to press ahead with an assault charge over an incident involving her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.

In 2022, Caroline's friends and family members set up Flackstock which took place at Englefield House in Berkshire – with performances from the likes of Ronan Keating, Tom Grennan, Pixie Lott and Natalie Imbruglia. The festival is set to return again this year on July 22 at Englefield House in Berkshire.

To make four years since Caroline's passing, Janette shared a beaming photo of them both on Instagram. It showed the pair at a festival or another outdoor event sitting in deck chairs as they smiled for the camera with sunglasses covering their eyes.

Simply captioning the post, the 40-year-old dancer and presenter said: "Love you forever and always #BeKind." And her fans and followers were quick to respond to the post with their love, support and own thoughts of the late TV star.
