BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse praised for 'this is real' post as she's seen with baby daughter

Oti Mabuse has been flooded with praise and support as she shared the 'real' side of her life. The former Strictly Come Dancing star took to social media with a string of snaps featuring her baby daughter.

Oti, 33, and her husband Marius Lepure welcomed their first child into the world prematurely in October. It wasn't until Christmas Day that the couple announced Oti had given birth, sharing a sweet picture to Instagram of the pair in matching festive pyjamas while cradling their newborn.

The new mum has only recently opened up about her daughter's arrival into the world, which saw Oti develop sepsis meaning her daughter - who was born two months early - was at risk of being infected when she was born.

Oti recently said on This Morning that her daughter, whose name is yet to be publicly shared, was in the NICU for six weeks and said initially she did not want to go public about what had happened.

"The whole process, to go through it was something really traumatising and I didn't really talk about it," she admitted. on This Morning "I didn't say anything for about nine, 10 weeks because first of all I wanted time with her and my husband, we just wanted to be a family."

Since revealing she'd become a first-time mum, Oti has been sharing updates in her new life and sharing the reality of becoming a parent. In her latest post, the Dancing on Ice judge shared a string of pictures which she described as showing her in her 'most natural state'.

In the first image, Oti could be seen planting a kiss on her husband while she cradled their baby girl.
