BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola praised for surprise move away from dancing as fans brand him 'sweetest'

Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola has been praised for his unexpected talents away from the ballroom. It is no big surprise that he's a talented dancer and he was seen winning the BBC One dance contest at the end of last year alongside actress Ellie Leach.

It's now been a few weeks since the pair danced together for the last time as they reunited for the show's live tour at the start of the year. The 2024 Strictly Come Dancing Live tour saw Vito and Ellie among Strictly's 2023 stars hitting the road for three weeks as they performed 31 shows across nine cities with a number of the show's 2023 celebrity contestants.

They were joined by fellow finalists Bobby Brazuer, Dianne Buswell, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin as well as Angela Rippon, Angela Scanlon, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Annabel Croft, the show's professional dancers, judges and host Janette Manrara for the epic shows.

But they've all since gone their separate ways, including Ellie and Vito and while former Coronation Street star Ellie, 22, prepares for her stage debut in the play Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter, Vito, 33, has been reminiscing and delighted fans on social media with his latest post.

The Italian dancer shared a video of him singing backstage at one of the venues alongside Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan who was playing the guitar.
