Shocking moment mum pushing pram on pavement narrowly misses being hit cay car
A mum and her child narrowly escaped a potentially life-threatening injury after a car nearly flew into their path. Footage of the crash on Saturday, December 16, just after 4pm shows a car veering off Warwick Road, Solihull before it goes into a lamppost.
Following this, the vehicle tips on its side while the mum and child are on the pavement.
Fortunately, the mum was quick to react and turned the pushchair away as the car rapidly approached them. Seconds later, she can be seen clutching her daughter and sitting on a chair outside of a nearby restaurant.

A shop worker, who raced to help following the collision, told Birmingham Live: "The mum was in shock and her little girl was only aged around two. We think she had a broken leg. It was a terrible crash."
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the scene. An ambulance service spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: “We were called at 4.11pm on Saturday to a road traffic collision involving a car and two pedestrians on Warwick Road, Solihull.
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene. Upon arrival, we found a woman and child who were pedestrians and a woman who was the driver of the car.
"The driver of the car and the child were assessed and had non-life-threatening injuries. The driver received treatment from ambulance staff and both were conveyed to Heartlands Hospital for further assessment.
