BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans say 'public doesn't deserve them' after 'gutting' move
Strictly Come Dancing fans have said the public 'doesn't deserve' Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe after they had to fight for their place in the competition.
The Olympian and Gladiators star and her professional dance partner found themselves in the dreaded dance-off for the second week in a row, this time opposite actor Jamie Borthwick and pro dancer Michelle Tsiakkas during Sunday night's (November 24) results show.
The latter couple were seen reprised their graceful foxtrot to Stand By Me by Ben E King, which landed them a score of 32 from the judges during Saturday's (November 23) live show before Montell and Johannes performed their quickstep to Get Happy by Ella Fitzgerald again in a bid to impress the judges, which had earlier earned them a score of 37.

After both couples had danced a second time, the judges unanimously agreed to save Montell and Johannes, sending Jamie and Michelle home. Reflecting on his time on the show with co-host Tess Daly, soap star Jamie hailed Strictly as "magic" and praised those who work on the show.
Montell and Joahnnes are yet to speak out out on making it through to the quarter-finals of Strictly's 2024 series but fans were quick to jump to their defence.
Alongside a picture of the pair embracing, @schhevereaux said: "THE BRITISH PUBLIC DON'T DESERVE THEM #strictly." @KDCunliffe commented: "I have absolutely no idea why the public hasn’t taken to Montell. She’s a brilliant dancer and her dance partner is one of the greatest blokes on the planet. #montell #johannes #strictly #strictlycomedancing #strictly2024."
