BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans quick to call out presenter after 'record-breaking' remarks
Strictly Come Dancing fans wasted no time in calling out Claudie Winkleman over her remarks just seconds into the latest live show. The BBC One dance contest returned to screens on Saturday night (November 4) with the nine remaining couples taking it in turns to perform their latest routines.
They will have been hoping to keep their place in the competition and to be in with a chance of lifting the Glitterball trophy when the 2023 series draws to a close in December with the next results show set to air on Sunday night (November 5).
Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were back to steer another epic live show, both donning equally sparkly outfits. "Welcome to Strictly Come Dancing. It's week seven and we are officially at the halfway point," Tess kicked off.

But it was the next line that left viewers rushing to comment on social media. "So far this series a Strictly record has been broken every single week," Claudia then added before Tess said: "And with another new couple topping last week's leaderboard, there really is everything to dance for."
And as they continued to introduce the judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke - back onto the panel, Strictly fans were sharing their annoyance on social media about the 'record-breaking' reference after being highly critical of some of the judges' scores in recent weeks.
But they were also keen to put out that the records mentioned have been a bit obscure as @HertsSid tweeted: "'So far this series a record's been broken every week' -
