BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans demand couples scores 'swapped' as others fume 'cry somewhere else'
Strictly Come Dancing fans think two couples scores should be 'swapped' while others jumped to their defence. It was another spectacular night in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 21) as 11 of the 12 remaining couples in the competition took to the floor.
The reduced number of couples came as Amanda Abbington was forced to pull out of her performance with dance partner Giovanni Pernice "due to medical reasons".
Amanda and Giovanni had been due to perform a cha cha cha to Jamioquai's hit Canned Heat and their absence in the studio on Saturday night's live show (October 21) was addressed by hots Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman within moments of cameras rolling.

Claudia once again mentioned 'medical reasons' as the reason Amanda wasn't there, before Tess explained: "As per the rules of the competition, she's been given a bye and, all being well, will return to the ballroom next week." Claudia then added: "Amanda, we are all sending you so much love," with Tess chiming in: "Lots of love to you."
The show then went on and it was another high-scoring night for some. Actor Layton Williams has wowed the Strictly judges once again, this time with a high-energy salsa featuring lifts. The Bad Education star and professional Nikita Kuzmin received a total score of 39 points, which Claudia announced has not happened in week five for 13 years, for the dance to Quimbara by Johnny Pacheco and Celia Cruz.
They had beaten this year’s Strictly record when achieving the highest score of the series so far with 37 points
