BBC Radio Manchester breakfast star switches to TV after two-and-a-half years hosting show
BBC Radio Manchester's breakfast show host Anna Jameson is about to air her final show - after announcing her move to TV. Anna, who has hosted breakfast for the past two and a half years in Manchester, is heading to join the BBC North West Tonight team in the New Year.
Anna, from Bury, announced her departure from the local BBC radio station on air last week, and said she's been overwhelmed with messages of support ever since. She first joined BBC Radio Manchester in 2019, and said her last day, on Friday morning, will be emotional.

Anna has interviewed a host of famous faces, including many of her music idols, including the likes of Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Simply Red star Mick Hucknall and pop band Steps. She also hit national headlines last year with her grilling of then Prime Minister Rishi Sunak demanding a yes or no answer to whether he was scrapping the HS2 rail line.
Anna says: "It's been a real privilege waking up Manchester every day. Presenting the Breakfast show is something you never think is going to happen to you.
