BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst admits ‘that’s hard for me’ as she makes pledge on air
BBC Breakfast star Nina Warhurst made a pledge live on air during Wednesday's episode. The presenter was hosting the programme alongside Jon Kay as they shared the latest headlines, one of which included a segment about mobile phones.
Nina informed viewers that the first mobile phone call in the UK was made 40 years ago, just after midnight on January 1 1985. As the show took a look at how advanced mobile phones have become over the years, Nina decided to make a change regarding her device habits.
Addressing her co-star Jon, she said: "It's been Pandora's box, hasn't it? it's brilliant, but me and John (Watson) have just shaken on going an hour every day without looking at our mobile phones because we're just on it all the time."
