BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty halts show to issue warning to viewers

On Thursday's edition of BBC Breakfast, Naga Munchetty gave viewers a heads-up before delving into a supernatural discussion on the show. Co-host Charlie Stayt set the scene by telling the audience that they were about to delve into ghostly stories, asserting: "The tales of supernaturals divide us into two groups, believers and sceptics."

With an air of curiosity, Naga probed Charlie's stance on the matter, to which he firmly confessed: "On the latter, definitely!" She then introduced their guest, comedian and presenter Danny Robins, who has been exploring numerous paranormal incidents for his latest series, Uncanny.

Cautioning those at home, particularly younger viewers, Naga advised: "We're going to talk to him in a moment. But first, let's take a look. Now look, if there are any young children watching, I should warn you, this story does have some spooky bits."

The programme proceeded with giving a glimpse of Uncanny, capturing a man reminiscing about an eerie childhood Christmas encounter with the paranormal. He spoke with Danny about the time he secretly tiptoed downstairs to unravel a gift, only to be enveloped by a sudden icy chill and the sensation of being watched.

Reflecting on the frightful experience, he recounted: "Within a split second, the room felt freezing. I could feel someone's eyes burning in the side of my head, someone was watching me", reports the Express.

He then described spotting a spectral figure: "I looked over my left shoulder towards the corner of the room where the doorway is to the living room. In the doorway, there was a little boy."
