Barry Robson sees different Celtic under Brendan Rodgers as Aberdeen FC boss reveals counterpart words of encouragement

Barry Robson insists everyone in the Pittodrie dressing room believes Aberdeen can stun the champions on Sunday.The Dons haven’t beaten Celtic in more than five years and stattos have to go back to 2016 – when Simon Church netted – for the last time they sank them on home turf. Robson and the rest of the Red Army will be looking for a repeat of that scalp when Brendan Rodgers takes his side to the Granite City. Robson said: “I watched the game against County and thought they did very well. But I also saw Celtic’s quality. They have had just one competitive game, so have we. People forget that. We played Livingston last week and it was their fifth competitive game whereas it was our first.

“Both Celtic and us are in the same boat and I think it will be a good game. I’m looking forward to it and so are the players. County did well but I’m not saying we are going to copy them.
