Barry Bannan delivers four-word message after Sheffield Wednesday win

Sheffield Wednesday stormed to yet another victory at the weekend, claiming a 3-1 win over Doncaster to aid them in their play-off push.

The side are currently sat in eighth but are only out of the top six on goal difference. Both they, Wycombe and Sunderland all have 55 points as things stand and the Owls have a real chance to push on and seal a play-off spot come the end of the campaign.

One man who has continually produced the goods at Hillsborough this season is Barry Bannan. The midfielder has proven that, despite his age, he is at the peak of his powers in the third tier and could arguably still do a job in the Championship.

Against Doncaster at the weekend, he helped run the show and even bagged the third and final goal for Wednesday in that win. After strolling to another three points, Bannan then took to Twitter to post a picture of his celebration. Clutching the Owls badge in one hand, he posted that the picture ‘didn’t need any words.’
