Awesome aqua park 40 minutes from Manchester opens for summer season
A popular aqua park close to Manchester is in full swing for the new season.
Wild Shore Delamere is around 40 minutes away, close to Delamere Forest, in Cheshire.
It features an aqua park, described as 'a giant floating playground' and hosts a number of 'Ninja Warrior-style features', including an 'epic 3.8m inflatable tower'.
But that's not the only thing at the site. It's also home to Aqua Chimp, a 'floating ropes course, packed full of fun and challenging elements, obstacles, rope swings and ziplines'.

Billed as a 'world first', the concept is simple - there's no harness, so if you fall off, you get wet.
It's suitable for all abilities, with different coloured runs to match the participant's ability. You can stick to one, or do them all.
There's also wakeboarding, which is one of the world’s fastest growing watersports, and uses an overhead cable to pull you over the surface of the lake with a feeling 'similar to surfing or snowboarding but on water'.
You can try out a Ringo session, where up to three people can be pulled along on an inflatable, 'feeling every bump and splash along the way', or there's stand up paddleboarding, either enjoying a scenic journey around the lake or staying with friends in a set 'paddle zone'.
Open water swimming can also be booked for ages 13 plus, with a two-hour session costing £6 per person.
