After being included in recent first-team matchday squads, Aston Villa youngster Tommi O'Reilly has been added to FIFA 22.
In the latest update to FIFA 22, which was released on all platforms on Monday, March 7, 2022, Villa youngster O'Reilly is now in the club's first-team squad, the first time the midfielder has been on an EA Sports FIFA gaming title. The 18-year-old has been on Villa's first-team bench in recent games against Southampton and Brighton but has yet to make his Premier League debut for the club.
The Irish midfielder has performed well in the U18 Premier League and the Premier League 2 for Villa's youth teams so far this season, which eventually led to Steven Gerrard calling him up into the first-team squad. Amongst his youth teammates, he's been nicknamed "Philly" or "Fodes" due to his Phil Foden-esque playing style.
O'Reilly is also a huge Villa fan and was at the Championship play-off final back in 2019 when the club secured promotion back to the Premier League at Wembley. He's been at Villa since the age of seven,
