Aston Villa starlet Cameron Archer named on Championship club 'wishlist' as hot streak continues

Aston Villa starlet Cameron Archer is a reported target for Watford this summer.

The 20-year-old earned plenty of plaudits during his loan spell at Preston this season, where he scored seven goals in 20 appearances. His time away from Villa Park came after he had scored a hat-trick against Barrow in the League Cup and made his Premier League debut, as well as getting on the scoresheet against Chelsea.

Archer has continued his impressive season by being prolific for England U21’s, where he scored his fourth goal in three games in the side’s 2-1 defeat to Slovenia on Monday. His form has led the striker to attract interest in the transfer window, with the Villa academy graduate reportedly on Watford’s ‘wishlist ‘ this summer.
