Aston Villa injury latest as trio hopeful of return for Wolves clash

Aston Villa fell to a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal at Villa Park on Saturday (March 19) before this week's international break.

Bukayo Saka's goal proved to be the winner in the end as Steven Gerrard was without Lucas Digne, Kortney Hause and Marvelous Nakamba. Gerrard's Villa have now suffered back-to-back defeats after having previously lost 2-1 to West Ham United at the London Stadium.

With the international break this week, over half of the squad will link up with their respective national teams. But Gerrard will be hopeful of welcoming some of his players back.

Here's the full latest Villa injury news...

: Hamstring.

: March 29 (France's match against South Africa)

: Digne had to be replaced ten minutes into the West Ham clash and Villa took to social media on Monday to send the Frenchman a message, which read: "You'll be back stronger."

: "He will be assessed by France and he’s probably got an outside chance for their second game."

: Knee.

: April 2 vs Wolverhampton Wanderers.

: Nakamba is battling to return from a knee injury he picked up against Liverpool on December 11 which required surgery.
