Aston Villa injury latest vs Wolves as Steven Gerrard receives huge boost
Aston Villa are almost back to a clean bill of health as Steven Gerrard prepares his side for a return to action.
The final international break is over and Villa will begin their final stretch of the season with a game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. Gerrard will welcome back Lucas Digne from a hamstring injury with the Frenchman returning to action for his country having missed Villa's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last time out.
Only Marvelous Nakamba remains out, though the long-term absentee with a knee injury is set to return to Under-23s action on Friday. Leon Bailey has come through the international break unscathed as his comeback from a thigh injury continues to be managed while Kortney Hause is over an abdominal problem.
Gerrard declared Villa 'at full health' and after discussing his plan for Nakamba added: "The rest are all healthy, in a good place and ready to go."
