Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s El Clasico debut could not have gone any better.

Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez opted to start his January signing at the Bernabeu and it was a decision that paid dividends.

Aubameyang scored two goals and assisted another to help the Blaugrana achieve a memorable 4-0 victory over their arch nemesis Real Madrid.

The former Arsenal man was absolutely electric up top and he’s now found the back of the net nine times in his first eight starts for Barcelona.

Aubameyang is also the first player in the 21st century to be directly involved in three goals during their first El Clasico appearance.
