Aston Villa confirm ticket details for pre-season opener vs Walsall

Aston Villa have confirmed the ticket details for their traditional pre-season friendly against Walsall.

Steven Gerrard ’s side are scheduled to take on the Saddlers at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on Saturday, July 9. It will be Villa’s opening game of the summer with supporters hoping to catch the first glimpses of the club’s new signings in the transfer window.

After taking on the League Two side in a 1pm kick-off, the Villa squad will travel to Australia to take part in the Queensland Champions Cup , where they will face Brisbane Roar (July, 21, 10,45am UK-time) and Leeds United (July 17, 5.35am UK-time). The club will then line up against Manchester United in Perth, later that month, before ending their pre-season plans with an away clash against Rennes at Roazhon Park stadium (July 30, 7pm UK-time).

WIth the opening game against Walsall a little over a month away, the club have confirmed ticket details for the fixture. The club has been granted a ticket allocation of 3,370, a sizable chunk of the 11,300 capacity stadium.

Adults can get a ticket for £13, while over-60’s and under-18’s will cost £7, with a family ticket option of one adult and one under-18 also available for £16. Disabled tickets are also placed within the same price categories with a personal assistant admitted free of charge.

Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders online from 5pm on Friday, June 10 and will be available over the phone from 10am on Monday, June 13. Club members will then be able to purchase tickets through the same methods on Friday, June 17 and Monday, 20, before going on general sale a week later.
