Artur Beterbiev will fight Joe Smith Jr in a highly-anticipated light heavyweight world championship unification showdown.

The Russian – who is boxing‘s only champion with a 100 per cent KO ratio – defends his WBC and IBF belts at the Hulu Theater New York and comes up against Smith Jr who currently holds the WBO strap.

Beterbiev became the WBC light heavyweight world champion when he knocked out Oleksandr Gvozdyk two years ago.

He then successfully defended both titles with back-to-back knockout victories over Adam Deines and Marcus Browne respectively last year.

Beterbiev can become a three-belt unified light heavyweight champ if he wins.
