Apex Legends: Data leak reveals new Legend, Vantage, is coming

A new Apex Legends data leak has suggested tat there is a new Legend called Vantage coming in Season 14, as per Dbltap.

ThordanSmash is an Apex Legends content creator on YouTube, and they have uploaded a video to their channel claiming that a new leak has revealed the new legend.

He claims that the appearance of new banner images and practice range gameplay have given the game away ahead of Season 14.

Vantage was first revealed in a data dump and is one of the two legends that had finished models that were ready for release; the other is Newcastle.

As a result, that previous knowledge has helped TordanSmash identify the new Legend, after gameplay footage leaked.

Vantage is said to be a survivalist sniper character who specialises in reconnaissance, while they have a kit that helps them gather information about their enemies.

The previous dump, as per dbltap, outlines the following abilities.

Passive ⁠— Sniper Kit: Tactical info available in ADS unarmed or any long-range scopes (Legend name, shield rarity, team size, and range).

Tactical ⁠— Echo Launch: Launch towards Echo. Order Echo by tapping Q. Launch to Echo by holding Q.

Ultimate ⁠— Mark to Kill: A custom rifle that scans enemies and boosts damage for Vantage and her squad. Damage doubles for Vantage on successive shots. The team gets a 15% bonus on marked targets.

The next season is also set to feature the Goliath character that was fought by Bloodhound previously, which suggests that Vantage’s backstory will tie in with that.

There has been no official reveal yet but it is likely to come soon enough now that there are leaks coming out from content creators and such.
