Call of Duty MW2: Leak reveals Tarkov-like mode to debut in 2023

We know the gaming community is concerned about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s rumoured Tarkov-inspired mode, but thanks to leaks, we know something.

But what do we know? We understand that the game’s new Escape from Tarkov game type will be available as a free-to-play experience by 2023, according to a reliable leaker.

This campaign mode is reportedly codenamed Project Nexus and it has been in development for four or five years and will incorporate elements of campaign gameplay with PVPVE action, including an RPG element as well.

However, you should keep in mind that Modern Warfare 2 will include three modes when it launches in 2022, a single-player campaign, multiplayer, and cooperative modes.

New reports say that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will release a free-to-play mode similar to Escape From Tarkov in 2023.

According to RalphsValve for WhatIfGaming, the mode has been in production for several years and has changed as it has progressed.

As Ralph claims, the mode is open-world and players will fight other players and NPCs for valuable loot on some maps, as DMZ is said to be heavily influenced by Escape From Tarkov.

Further, these maps will be included in Warzone 2.0, as well as the same characters from the Campaign.
