Leeds join two Premier League rivals in battle for Junior Adamu amid developing transfer theme

Leeds United have joined two other Premier League clubs in the race to sign RB Salzburg striker Junior Adamu, according to a report.

RB Salzburg will be selling one striker this summer when Karim Adeyemi moves to Borussia Dortmund. He will follow in the footsteps of Erling Haaland in making such a transfer. Afterwards, the Austrian side could yet have another attacker on the conveyor belt to cash in on.

Junior Adamu has been attracting interest after scoring nine goals from 43 appearances this season. His tallies included seven goals from 30 games in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The 21-year-old is emerging onto the radar of clubs across Europe as a result. He was recently listed as a target for West Ham and Southampton by the Daily Mail.
