'Anyone going on a Summer holiday should sit in this row on the plane to get upgraded to first class', says flight attendant

A flight attendant has told holidaymakers to sit in a certain row on the plane if they want to get upgraded to first class. According to the flight attendant, those sat in one particular row on an aeroplane are likely to be upgraded to first class before anybody else, despite having paid for an economy ticket.

The flight attendant gave out her tips on getting a free upgrade on her Tik Tok channel, @cierra_mistt. According to Cierra, if you're sat in the back row, you're most likely to be upgraded.

The thinking behind this isn't random, either. In fact, it's got everything to do with science.

Explaining why on Tik Tok, Cierra said: "One thing the airlines don't want you to know is that the majority of the flights we have to move people for weight and balance purposes.

"That being said, if you want to fly first class and not have to pay for it, I highly suggest that you choose sitting in the last row. Because if we do have to move people for weight and balance purposes, that's where the flight attendants are going to go."

Cierra explained in a previous video: "When we move people all the way up to the front it's not just because we are being nice, but normally if our flight is full we have to move people for weight and balance purposes."
