Antony returns as youngsters promoted - three things spotted in Manchester United training ahead of Galatasaray fixture

Manchester United returned to training on Sunday ahead of their next fixture against Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Reds are looking for a return to form in midweek after suffering their fifth loss of the season against Crystal Palace at the weekend. Joachim Andersen's strike midway through the first half was enough to condemn United to yet another defeat which was met with a cacophony of boos at full-time.

Erik ten Hag said post-match he understood why the supporters had jeered his team off the field and it is clear a reaction is needed. United returned to the training pitch on Sunday and here are a few things we picked out from the images:

Antony returns to training

United's Brazilian winger returned to Carrington on Sunday and participated in full team training for the first time since he returned from his home country, where he had voluntarily travelled last month to address abuse allegations levelled against him. The 23-year-old denies all allegations made against him and also voluntarily agreed to meet with Greater Manchester Police for questioning last week.

Antony is available for selection for United after missing their last five games but, when asked about his availability, Ten Hag explained on Friday he was unsure when the forward will be in a position to feature.
