Ange Tottenham talk won't blur Greg Taylor's Celtic Treble tunnel vision with eyes firmly on Hampden prize

Greg Taylor insists Celtic’s Treble tunnel vision won’t be blurred by outside talk around boss Ange Postecoglou.

The Parkhead defender is adamant the squad’s complete focus is trained on Saturday’s Scottish Cup Final showdown against Inverness Caley Thistle. Spurs’ interest in Postecoglou has been headline news over recent days with the English Premier League outfit having the Aussie on their list of candidates for their vacant manager’s job. But Taylor made it clear all thoughts are on the Treble bid as he said: “We just do our job on the pitch. We focus on every game and at a club this size you can’t look anywhere else, so that’s what the players do.” Asked if it was a case of tunnel vision amongst the group, he continued: “Exactly.”

“Whether that’s trophies, individual honours or links to wherever it is, we understand that’s part of the life of a footballer and a football manager. There’s no point getting nervous about things like that because it’s outwith my control.

“I’m just trying to play a small role in the team and to bring success to a club that demands and deserves success.”
