Ange Postecoglou sees Celtic impact reach Down Under as ex team belt out Parkhead anthem in dressing room

With the signing of four J League players there's clearly plenty of interest in Celtic from Japan.

Fans from the Far East are well known for following their heroes closely and all eyes are on Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda, Yosuke Ideguchi and Reo Hatate.

It's not just in Japan where there's a new focus on Celtic though, with Australian fans hugely invested in the exploits of Ange Postecoglou.

The Parkhead boss managed A League sides Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory, as well as the national team.

Postecoglou started his coaching career at South Melbourne FC, a club founded by Greek immigrants.

And the NPL Victoria outfit have paid tribute to their former boss and to Celtic with a dressing room song inspired by a Parkhead anthem.

A clip posted by South Melbourne shows players singing the 'Celtic Song' beloved of the Premiership giants.

The terrace anthem has been adopted by Everton and Tottenham south of the border and appears to be making its mark on the other side of the world.

Postecoglou led South Melbourne to back-to-back National Soccer League - the predecessor of the A League - titles in the late 1990s.

The Celtic boss also took his side into the Club World Cup where they faced Sir Alex Ferguson's treble winning Manchester United.
