Ange Postecoglou opens up on Tottenham fan bust up as he tells punters what he won't accept

Ange Postecoglou has revealed all on the angry scenes between himself and a Tottenham fan in their recent clash with Manchester City.

The former Celtic gaffer was looking to secure a big three points to keep hopes of Champions League football in North London alive while victory would also have handed a major title boost to rivals Arsenal going into the final game of the season. Many fans in the build-up had expressed wishes for their own club to LOSE in order to deny the Gunners going into the final day in pole position to lift the English Premier League crown.

During the game Postecoglou got involved in a heated exchange with a supporter behind the dugout and when asked about the confrontation he explained: “If you’re going to sit behind the bench, especially in a home game, you got to be respectful when you’re in earshot of the most important people.

“He wasn’t happy we just conceded a goal, so I turned around to find out what his problem was and he used language that he shouldn’t and he was abusive and if I hear that I don’t care who it is I will deal with it. But he is more than welcome to come back next time and take his seat up and express his opinions. If he swears, if he is abusive, he will cop the same treatment from me again. But at the same time you also feel, ‘well, I cop it at opposition grounds
