Ange Postecoglou offers Celtic boxing analogy as he tells stars to take punches like they have done all season

Ange Postecoglou has urged his Celtic title fighters to bounce off the ropes and hit back from taking a painful punch.

The Parkhead boss is demanding an instant response to Euro disappointment when his charges tackle Dundee on Sunday.

Celtic go into the Premiership clash having lost a 17-match unbeaten run when floored by a bashing from Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.

But Postecoglou admits there can be no crying after suffering the savage blow and that his team have to come back swinging.

He said: “You have got to take a punch like you’re a good boxer and show, okay, it happens to the best.

“We can’t feel sorry for ourselves. Ultimately, this is part of football. You have got to take the knocks.
